
E-Istanbul is a renovation project that transformed an apartment in Istanbul into a harmonious living space for its new owners. The design team created defined spaces and reduced visual clutter by concealing irregular columns and beams with new walls and ceilings. Hidden lights were used to add ambiance and drama through ambient lighting. Built-in furniture designed with the new walls integrated with the existing space, providing ample storage space and functionality.
E-ISTANBUL
The main restaurant of the Watermill Boutique Hotel is harmoniously integrated into an old watermill house with a restored aqueduct and natural pool. The design seamlessly blends historic appeal with contemporary aesthetics to create a unique dining experience. The restaurant's architecture, characterized by high ceilings and wide openings, frames stunning views, creating a captivating and immersive environment for guests.
WATERMILL RESTAURANT
The project sits on a hilly slope in Yalıkavak, featuring large olive trees and striking rock formations. The north side faces a steep rocky slope, while the south side overlooks a noisy street. To mitigate the noise, the south facade was designed with thick stone walls and minimal openings. On the north, main garden area features a big pool and terrace areas, forming a secluded space enclosed with designed environment and landscape.
ELVER HOUSE
Located in Yalıkavak, project area occupies a 13-decare site with rocks, trees, and bushes. The area situated adjacent to a busy street, offers a stark contrast to the bustling urban environment with its serene landscape. To block the street noise that reaches the upper levels of the plot due to the sloping topography, the main goal of the project was to create a serene and harmonious village-like environment shaped with natural elements.
S BODRUM
Project transforms an old residence hotel, addressing challenges, such as a pool obstructing the sea view and high building density that doesn't match the surroundings. The pool was removed to expand the beach with new sunbathing areas. A restaurant, children's playground, and spa-wellness areas are designed for all visitors. To mitigate the visual impact of the multi-story structures, the design incorporates wide green terraces, balancing built and natural elements.
T HOUSING
The project seamlessly adapts to the sloping terrain and redefines life by creating an intimate connection with the surrounding forest and the majestic Geyran Mountain. In the design, the house is structurally divided into three separate units, each occupying its own plot level and fulfilling specific functions. The living area emerges as a single voluminous space with high ceilings, creating a spacious and open interior atmosphere.
E HOUSE
Designed as a residential project in Yeşilüzümlü, houses seamlessly blend into a gentle slope near red pine forest. Design consists of three identical twin two-story buildings strategically positioned on different plot levels, offering stunning views of Geyran Mountain with private garden and pool area. The ground level features a natural stone base, while the upper floor showcases a modern, minimalist white box structure, contrasting strikingly with the natural surroundings.
P HOUSES
Reflecting the natural beauty of the region with its lush vegetation and endemic wildlife, the hotel features four restored stone buildings, including a historic watermill integrated into the restaurant. These stone structures serve as cozy guest houses and provide guests with a unique and unforgettable stay. The green terraces overlooking the Butterfly Valley blend perfectly with the forested hillside, offering guests an oasis of calm with mesmerizing views.
WATERMILL HOTEL
Designed as a permanent residence for a family of four in Yeşilüzümlü, Fethiye, the project seamlessly blends into its surroundings while meeting the family's needs. The ground floor features three separate gardens connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. The second floor appears as a one-story building with three bedrooms, while the basement includes a parking garage and a bedroom with an internal garden accessible from the backyard.
M HOUSE
Designed for a family of three working in agriculture, the project was based on the family's desire for a sheltered house with a large roof. The roof was designed in three different shapes to create different volumes according to the program. The transition from a two-story to a single-story layout optimizes daylight for gardening activities and creates an open courtyard with a pool area flooded with natural light.
S HOUSE
Nestled among olive groves and near a rural road, the local stone walls on the ground floor create a feeling of spaciousness and unity with the surroundings. The elegant white upper volume, which houses the two bedrooms with private views, offers architectural contrast while maintaining harmony with the surroundings, presenting the residence as a single-story house.
H HOUSE
Located in the heart of Istanbul Ataşehir, Local Cups features a central capsule bar that guides visitors and creates a seamless flow. The design blends warm wood tones, black ceramics, and dark walls, creating a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere. The seating areas radiate from the bar, offering an inviting space for relaxation and socializing.
LOCAL CUPS ATASEHIR
Located in Yaliciftlik, Bodrum, HF Houses consists of eight residences with private gardens and stunning views. The linear layout maximizes garden space and seamlessly integrates interiors with terraces and backyards. The project features three lines: essential functions along the back wall, main living units under a steel canopy, and a continuous walkway connecting all functions and the entrance.
HF HOUSES
The project features ten homes arranged around a central courtyard with a shared pool, fostering community. Reflection pools extend the area, enhancing common spaces, private gardens, and walkways, providing relief from Köyceğiz's summer heat. White canopies connect the buildings, offering each home a unique entrance and promoting individuality while strengthening neighborly bonds.
K-SOCIAL HOUSING
Designed for a conventional family, project focuses on privacy and large gatherings. Main concept revolves around an outer shell—a wooden box painted with red ochre which is used for protecting wood from external climatic conditions. This wood shell not only allows residents to control the level of visual permeability but also provides a sense of belonging and connection with surroundings and built environment.
TG HOUSE
Project integrates stone walls following the land's slope to define garden boundaries while blending the structure seamlessly with the plot. This design minimizes disruption to neighbors' views and creates captivating interior vistas. The house boasts two entrances, open living spaces, multiple gardens, and a harmonious connection with the environment.
BA HOUSE
Comprising of two distinct houses, project is designed to accommodate the unique needs of two families. Design was carefully developed to address the challenges posed by the land's high slope topography and the intensive program requirements. This resulted in the incorporation of inner gardens that seamlessly blend with the slope, allowing ample natural light to penetrate the lower floors.
SS HOUSE
Guest House 01 is designed as a part of an art project which aims transforming old stone buildings into workshops and accommodation places. The structure features preserved large-scale stone walls, fortified with reinforced concrete columns and beams to serve as a load-bearing system.
GUEST HOUSE 01
Guest House 02 is designed as a part of an art project which aims transforming old stone buildings into workshops and accommodation places. The old village house, where only stone walls remain, was transformed into a reading and storytelling area for children. A small mezzanine with a sleeping and resting area was added to provide accommodation for guests and storytellers after the events.
GUEST HOUSE 02
The project focuses on designing a showroom and entrance area for a textile company, located in the organized industrial zone. The main objective was to create an interior ambiance that contrasts with the exterior by using materials such as colored glass, wood and stone panels, while maintaining an industrial language using steel structures.
ARGUNTEKS RETAIL
TB House, designed for a family of four on a challenging plot with irregular boundaries and sloping topography, maximizes outdoor functionality. Green steel canopies, gardens, and walkways integrate each floor with its own garden, providing access to diverse outdoor activities. The design ensures a continuous flow between closed, semi-closed, and open areas.
TB HOUSE
The house was designed for a family of three on a flat land located at the end of a mountain covered with red pine forest. The specific requests from the owners, particularly the landscape architect with a keen interest in agriculture, prompted the integration of an indoor plant area, a greenhouse, and an outdoor shelter for farm animals.
YA HOUSE
LA House transforms an unfinished building into a comfortable residence by preserving the existing structure and adding functional spaces. Stone walls define areas like the master bedroom and living room, extending to the garden and pool house for visual cohesion. White stucco volumes create distinct zones, enhancing spatial experience and functionality with areas such as the entrance, working, planting and mezzanine storage areas.
LA HOUSE
The design is centered around a central courtyard, encircled by streets and passages, which serves as a welcoming gateway from multiple directions. The bazaar, which begins with artisan shops and restaurants on the ground floor, extends to an upper level featuring shops, public units, a movie theater, and a restaurant. Versatile green terrace areas are integrated vertically, offering spaces for various purposes throughout the year.
MERZIFON BUSINESS & LIFE CENTER
The design incorporates sloping green areas connected through passages and streets, creating a playful and interactive park. It fosters diverse pedestrian axes and gathering spaces for users coming from different directions, ensuring the continuity of green areas. A woodland area serves as a bridge between the north and south regions, providing a unified space for events and activities.
