DESIGN

Architecture has the potential to enhance its surrounding environment and promote happiness and motivation among people in the community. Achieving these objectives and providing better services require a unique and symbiotic relationship, benefiting both users as producers, consumers, learners, and teachers. Determining its true beneficiaries of its users becomes essential to create a system that benefits both parties involved. Addressing these issues requires local interventions and small-scale initiatives. By engaging the youth and their families in workshops and skill-sharing programs, we can reignite local pride and share common values. Adults can pass on their expertise to the younger generation, revitalizing forgotten crafts like weaving and woodworking, transforming them into centers of interest and sources of pleasure.

The design incorporates sloping green areas connected through passages and streets, creating a playful and interactive park. It fosters diverse pedestrian axes and gathering spaces for users coming from different directions, ensuring the continuity of green areas. A woodland area serves as a bridge between the north and south regions, providing a unified space for events and activities. The accommodation area is designed with different elevations, allowing controlled light into the basement floor through courtyards. Additionally, green roofs with an incline are transformed into seating, viewing, and gathering spaces, harmonizing with the landscape. The spa area is connected to the accommodation through a canopy, while other volumes are integrated with a courtyard basement floor. The spa and gym functions are placed at a lower level, capitalizing on the elevation difference, and outdoor sports areas are designed in front of the gym. The conference center is designed with a two-story foyer connecting the higher and lower levels, maximizing the elevation difference of the site. Multi-purpose halls and conference entrances are incorporated for versatile usage.
