DESIGN
TB House was designed for a family of four on a challenging plot with irregular boundaries, sloping topography, and a high retaining wall of the neighboring parcel. The main goal was to create functional garden areas while maximizing the use of the slope to incorporate various outdoor activities. For this purpose, green steel canopies, gardens and walkways have been designed, where each floor is integrated with its own garden floor, thus providing access to different gardens from different floors. These gardens connect to closed, semi-closed, and open areas, offering a continuous flow throughout the house.
The house features two entrances. The pedestrian entrance, at the highest point of the road in the northwest, is in the narrowest and longest part of the land. From here, one can access the first floor, which houses the bedroom unit with an entrance area. The ground floor can be reached via an inner garden with a ramp. This floor accommodates the living area, including a spacious front garden, pool, large living room, and kitchen with views of the front garden. A small examination office in the backyard has an independent entrance for visitors. Integrated with the pool, a pool house is designed as a second set adjacent to the retaining wall of the neighboring parcel. The first floor can be accessed via a ramp from the boundary of the embankment, providing direct access to the pool from the upper floor. The top level features a terrace accessible by an interior staircase and an elevator, offering a serene space with sea views.
