S House is located in the picturesque landscapes of Yeşilüzümlü, Fethiye, Muğla. Completed in 2021, the project is designed for a family of three engaged in agriculture, seeking a home protected by a grand "roof". Inspired by the owners' desire for a sheltered dwelling with a large roof, the design concept employed varying roof heights to create varied volumes beneath. This approach yielded distinctive interior spaces and interplays of light and shadow interacting with the surrounding garden area. Transition from a two-story configuration to a single-story layout optimized natural sunlight for garden activities while creating an open backyard featured by a sunlit pool area.
