GUEST HOUSE 02

Guest House 02 is designed as a part of an art project focused on transforming the village's old stone buildings into workshops and accommodation places. The old village house, where only stone walls remain, was transformed into a reading and storytelling area for children. A small mezzanine with a sleeping and resting area was added to provide accommodation for guests and storytellers after the events.

The existing stone walls were fortified to function as the outer shell of the building and reinforced by concrete columns and beams. Yellow travertine stones were used to complete the existing stone walls. Same yellow travertine was continued on the terraces, interior walls and floors. This approach offers visitors a glimpse into both the village's past and its present, creating a captivating atmosphere both inside and out.
